Marketplace Roundup: Euroleague Kicks Off New Season With 'No Jump No Glory' Spot

Euroleague launched a commercial on Tuesday with the slogan "No Jump No Glory" to kick off its new season. The spot is part of the league's new int'l marketing campaign and features Euroleague players Dimitris Diamantidis of Panathinaikos Athens, Emir Preldzic of Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul and Felipe Reyes of Real Madrid, among others (Euroleague). ... Honda has been named as an official partner of the National Basketball League of Indonesia for the '14-15 season. Honda is sponsoring the league through its local PT Honda Prospect Motor company. No financial details were revealed (Honda). ... La Liga side Valencia renewed its agreement with El Ganso for the textile company to continue as official supplier for a further two campaigns. El Ganso extends collaboration to the entire staff of the club, the VCF Femenino side and the youth in the Wanda VCF project (Valencia).

XBLADES RUNNER: Super League rugby club Castleford Tigers signed an exclusive five-year deal with rugby sports brand XBlades. XBlades will become the club's new official kit supplier for the 2015 Super League season. XBlades will supply all the club's off-field leisure apparel, footwear and protection (Castleford Tigers). ... ClearSky Business will remain as Super League rugby side Hull Kingston Rovers’ principal sponsor for '15 after extending its partnership with the club by a further 12 months. The SME advice specialist linked up with the Robins last November for its first venture into sports sponsorship and will now continue its support in Super League XX. As well as sponsoring the ClearSky East Stand at the KC Lightstream Stadium for another season, the new deal will see the firm once again appear across the front of the club’s home and away shirts in '15, with the new-look designs set to be unveiled to supporters in the run up to Christmas (Rovers).

X MARKS THE SPOT: Super Rugby League club Widnes Vikings will partner with sports nutrition company Nutrition X for the '15 season. Nutrition X will provide the players with nutritional products throughout the season (Widnes Vikings). ... Red Bull Racing announced a new partnership agreement with retail foreign exchange broker EXNESS. The association will formally begin on Jan. 1 with the EXNESS logo featuring on the cockpit surrounds of the RB11 (Red Bull Racing). ... Panasonic announced it has signed an official worldwide Paralympic partnership agreement with the Int'l Paralympic Committee for six years and two months from '14 through to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games (Panasonic).
