Euro 2016 Organizers Will Discuss Offering Fan-Friendly Ticket Prices

Euro 2016 Organizing Committee President Jacques Lambert proposed offering "very affordable admission prices to create excitement among fans," with many tickets starting at 20€ ($25.31), according to SO FOOT. The organizing committee is looking to avoid having stadiums half full, which is "a risk with slightly less enticing teams" qualifying. As it stands now, the top teams in the qualifying groups include Wales, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Albania, Austria and Northern Ireland. This effort would also "allow football fans who follow the Euro" to attend the event "without necessarily breaking the bank." The official price list will be announced on June 10 (SO FOOT, 10/14).
