Marketplace Roundup: Spanish Football League Partners With Betting Service Sportium

The Spanish Football League (LFP) and betting service Sportium have reached a sponsorship and collaboration agreement. The partnership will be presented at a press conference on Thursday. Sportium will become the LFP's official betting house for the '14-15 season and will appear in La Liga and Spanish second division advertising at stadiums and in the LFP's online, mobile and social media campaigns (LFP). ... Bundesliga side FSV Mainz "renewed its shirt sponsorship deal with energy provider Entega for another three years until '18" (WIESBADENER TAGBLATT, 9/29). ... The French National Rugby League "signed three new partnerships with brands in the world of DIY, and more specifically that of adhesives." German groups Henkel, Rubson, Loctite and Pattex have been given the title of  "official brand of the Top 14" for the '14-15 season (SPONSORING, 9/30). ... The partnership between Deutsche Bank and Inter Milan has been confirmed for the '14-15 season. The bank will again be one of the club's top sponsors and its official bank. For the second consecutive year, the two companies will work together to develop products and services for the bank's clients and the club's fans. As a top sponsor, Deutsche Bank will, among other things, enjoy increased visibility during matches at the Stadio Meazza (Inter Milan).

FLIGHT PLANS: Singapore Airlines has signed an agreement with the WTA to be an official sponsor of the 2014 BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global. Under the terms of the agreement, the iconic Singapore Girl will make an appearance at the int'l sporting event. Singapore Airlines will also be flying players and officials to Singapore (Singapore Airlines). ... EPL side West Ham United launched a new partnership with daily fantasy football website Mondogoal. Mondogoal is the only daily fantasy football site available for cash play in the U.K., U.S. and Canada, and also offers free play worldwide. The Hammers join the likes of Liverpool, Man City and AS Roma in partnering with Mondogoal (West Ham United). ... The Australian Diamonds have received a boost ahead of the Constellation Cup with Australia’s largest pharmacy retailer Chemist Warehouse teaming up with netball. The partnership will see the company, with more than 270 outlets nationally, join the sport for the next two years as an official sponsor of the Australian Diamonds, Real Insurance Netball Test Series and next year’s Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015, and as Official Category Partner of the ANZ Championship (Australian Diamonds).

CHARGE IT: Brazilian credit card Elo has been named the official credit card of the Copa do Brasil for the next three years, replacing Visa. Elo is operated by Brazilian banks Banco do Brasil, Bradesco and Caixa. The tournament runs from March-November (SOCCEREX, 9/30). ... The Fiji Rugby Union named Coca-Cola Amatil Fiji Ltd. its official beverage and sports drink provider for the national men's and women's rugby teams in a five-year deal worth $814,800. Coca-Cola will supply PowerAde sports drinks and Coke Zero for national rugby players (FIJI TIMES, 9/30). ... Premiership side Bath Rugby teamed up with global digital media company Olive Media to become an official business partner for the '14-15 season. Olive Media, which provides virtual training and communications to major corporations in the U.K. and worldwide, already has strong links in the sporting world, with ex-Bath Rugby, England and British and Irish Lions hooker Mark Regan amongst its shareholders. The partnership will see the int'l brand featured on the number patch of all the playing shirts, as well as advertising boards around the Recreation Ground on matchdays (Bath Rugby). ... Qatar Airways has been named the official airline sponsor for the 24th men’s handball world championship tournament to be held in Doha (IHF).
