Marketplace Roundup: European Professional Club Rugby Partners With Ball Supplier Gilbert

European Professional Club Rugby has chosen Gilbert as the official and exclusive match ball supplier to the inaugural European Rugby Champions Cup and European Rugby Challenge Cup tournaments. The partnership with the newly-constituted tournament organizer of European professional club rugby will run until the end of the '16-17 season (Gilbert). ... Puma will supply the Indian Super League with match balls for the Oct. 12-Dec. 20 "football extravaganza." The ball is named Puma evoPower 1 Statement Football. Puma "will also provide balls for warm-up and training sessions" (IANS, 9/30). ... Premiership rugby side London Irish announced a partnership with Tourism Ireland, the official tourism promotion organization for the island of Ireland, to become a marketing partner of the club. Tourism Ireland is jointly funded by the Irish Government and the Northern Ireland Executive on a two to one ratio (London Irish).
