Marketplace Roundup: EPL Side West Ham Announces Partnership With Winner.co.uk

EPL side West Ham announced a new partnership with online bookmaker and casino Winner.co.uk, which will see it become the club's partner for the '14-15 season. The deal grants Winner.co.uk the exclusive right to display its advertising on the club's LED boards at all West Ham home games (West Ham). ... The Australian National Basketball League signed a deal with ISC as its official apparel partner ahead of the '14-15 season. The three-year deal will see ISC deliver a range of performance apparel, including all on-court player uniforms and training gear, as well as an off-court clothing line (NBL).

GETTING A CONNECTION: Mobile network service provider Aircel has signed on as the principal sponsor of Indian Super League side Atletico de Kolkata. The company's logo "will be used on the front of the team jersey and training kits" (IANS, 9/22). ... Australian rental car company Coates Hire has been named the official rental equipment partner of the Australian Football League for '14 and '15 (AFL). ... Premiership rugby side London Welsh teamed up with travel company Venatour as the club's official travel partner. Venatour will oversee all of the London Welsh team’s travel arrangements for the '14-15 season, including the club’s three away fixtures in the European Rugby Challenge Cup (London Welsh). ... EPL side Southampton FC has partnered with bPay by Barclaycard. Launching exclusively to season-ticket holders, the bPay band can be used to pay at St. Mary's stadium and at thousands of retailers across the U.K. (Southampton).

IN SPAIN: Barcelona's FCBEscola football academy project is continuing its int'l expansion with its first academy in Turkey. The FCBEscola Istanbul Avea is part of a partnership with Turkish telecom Avea that dates back to '11. Avea has become the first company to partner with both Barcelona and FCBEscola. The school will have 600 students and will offer scholarships to 180 kids (Barcelona). ... Spanish third division side Real Oviedo has partnered with software manufacturer ASAC Comunicaciones. The company's logo will appear on the front of the Real Oviedo shirt during the '14-15 season (Real Oviedo).
