Media Notes: Fortuna Dusseldorf Launches Japanese-Language Version Of Website

Second Bundesliga club Fortuna Dusseldorf has launched a new Japanese-language version of its website. The new website adds to the club's current Japanese offering, which consists of a quarterly magazine called "Fortuna Aktuell Japanese Version." The club established a Japan desk in '08 (Fortuna Dusseldorf). ... German public broadcaster ARD "will continue to show boxing." Starting in '15, ARD "will acquire rights to certain individual events after it decided to not extend its contract with boxing stable Sauerland" (QUOTENMETER, 9/18). ... German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF "decided to bring back cycling to their sports programs." Both channels said that they "will take a look into the issue and determine the best way for a cycling comeback in '15" (QUOTENMETER, 9/18).
