Sky Deutschland Adds Handball Champions League Rights To Sports Portfolio

German pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland "has added the handball Champions League to its sports rights portfolio," according to Manuel Weis of QUOTENMETER. Sky "will replace Eurosport and show the EHF Champions League starting at the end of the month." The contract will run for three years until summer '17. Sky "will air all 30 group stage games of the three German clubs along with all round of 16 and quarterfinal games that feature a German side." The Final 4, which will take place on May 30-31 at the Cologne-based Lanxess Arena, "will also air live on Sky" (QUOTENMETER, 9/14).

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft
