Marketplace Roundup: Premiership Rugby Announces Partnership With Ricoh

Premiership Rugby announced Ricoh as an official partner. The long-term partnership will see Ricoh's branding in stadium via perimeter advertising boards for all Premiership Rugby matches, commencing this weekend for the entire '14-15 season. The '15-16 season onward will see Ricoh's branding also appearing on big screens at every TV match official decision together with regional activation based around each Premiership Rugby club (Premiership Rugby). ... German Hockey League (DEL) club Cologne Sharks has extended its sponsorship with Toyota for two years until '16. Toyota has been the team's exclusive car partner since '02. The car brand will be visible on boards, jerseys, pants and on the ice (Cologne Sharks). ... The catering division of services giant Sodexo "secured a new three-year catering contract" with Scottish Premiership side Dundee United. Sodexo Prestige, which provides in-house catering services at venues across the U.K., said that "the deal is to provide the hospitality, conference and banqueting services at Tannadice Park." The value of the contract "has not been disclosed" (Scotland DAILY RECORD, 9/12). ... MotoGP World Championship organizer Dorna Sports and BMW M GmbH extended their cooperation until '20, meaning that BMW M will remain as the official car of MotoGP and BMW will continue to provide the safety car fleet for MotoGP over the coming years (MotoGP). ... The Baku 2015 European Games Operations Committee has teamed up with website management company Sitecore to relaunch the Baku 2015 website. Sitecore will provide support to the Baku 2015 web team. The company has signed a supply and sponsorship agreement and will provide information around the event next year in Azerbaijan's capital. Sitecore becomes Baku 2015's fourth official supporter, joining McDonald's, Tickethour and Milla (Baku 2015).
