La Liga Side Valencia's Season Ticket Sales At 36,000 And Counting

La Liga side Valencia has sold more than 36,000 season tickets "and it is expected that the number will soon reach 37,000, with the chance to buy season tickets still open," according to Jordi Roda of SUPERDEPORTE. Given the success that "the club has had from sales so far, Valencia decided to extend the term to buy tickets." Valencia "will make it possible for fans that wish to buy a pass for half the season to do so at a more affordable price." This means "the dream of selling 40,000 season tickets could finally become a reality in January." The current figures "represent a true success that reverses the downward trend" that had appeared in the last two seasons -- Valencia sold "just more than 33,000 last season" (SUPERDEPORTE, 9/10).
