Gwangju Universiade Organizing Committee Signs Sponsors For 2015 Student Games

The 2015 Gwangju Universiade Organizing Committee of the 28th Summer Universiade in Gwangju, Korea announced a partnership with Kwangju Bank to support the hosting of the 2015 Student Games. Kwangju Bank will provide financial services such as management of funds for games operations, money exchange for participating delegations, receipt of participation fees, and so on. GUOC 2015 also signed two names in the textile industry safeguarding the clothing of staff, officials and volunteers. Himalayan Original Outdoor brand “Black Yak” signed the official sponsorship for the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade. As an official sponsor of the Universiade, Black Yak produces jackets, t-shirts, hats, sneakers, and other sportswear. These uniforms will be worn by torch relay runners, volunteers, operating and security staff. GUOC 2015 also signed an official sponsorship agreement with LF Corp. Besides Black Yak for sportswear, the organizing committee previously added LF Corp. for formal wear to its partners. LF will design and produce all formal uniforms, including suits, shirts and ties for officials, judges and awarding agents (GUOC 2015).
