F1 Releases Provisional Calendar For 2015 Circulating During Italian Grand Prix

F1 "is set for a return to a 20-race calendar next season, according to a draft version that has been circulated to teams at the Italian Grand Prix," according to Jonathan Noble of AUTOSPORT. Although "some dates of the calendar may still change," the current proposal "is for the season to begin in Australia on March 15 and end in Abu Dhabi on November 29." The dates of the Japanese and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix "are being considered for a shift forward of one week, depending on whether or not it is feasible for them to become back-to-back events with the preceding races." The addition of the Mexican GP will bring the calendar back up to 20 races. Once the teams are happy with the calendar then it "will be put forward to the FIA's World Motor Sport Council for ratification later this year" (AUTOSPORT, 9/7).
