Marketplace Roundup: Hamburg SV Signs Deal With Swiss Tourism Region Graubünden

Bundesliga side Hamburg SV agreed to a new partnership with Swiss tourism region Graubünden. As part of the two-year deal, the club will host its summer training camp in Switzerland (Hamburg SV). ... Handball Bundesliga (HBL) club Rhein-Neckar Löwen has signed a deal with sportswear company Erima to become the club's new kit supplier starting in '15. Erima will provide the professional team along with the second, third and youth teams with its products (Rhein-Neckar Löwen). ... Italian Serie A side Juventus "signed a sponsorship deal with Italian drinks company San Pellegrino." The deal "will see the Nestle-owned company’s Levissima mineral water brand become the official water supplier of the team." No contractual details have been released (SOCCEREX, 8/21). ... Dutch football side AZ Alkmaar extended its sponsorship deal with Rabobank. The team "has separate partnerships in place with six local branches of the Dutch bank and all six have been extended by three years." There "is a particular focus on social initiatives as part of the deals" (SOCCEREX, 8/21).

NEW SUIT OF CLOTHES: League Championship side Cardiff City announced a new partnership with Norwegian family clothing brand Skogstad. The brand was launched in the U.K. in '12 (Cardiff City). ... The Qatar Stars League and Prozone "announced the extension of their agreement." Some of the work that has been done in the QSL over the last couple seasons "includes studying trends in the league and benchmarking the QSL against the best leagues in the world." Prozone "analysed over 800 QSL matches and with the GPS system provided by VXSport, the latest addition to the league, it will now be easier to collect and combine the data captured by both systems and therefore improve the league further" (GULF TIMES, 8/20).
