La Liga Real Sociedad Signs One-Year Principal Sponsorship With Tech Firm Qbao.com

Chinese technology firm Qbao.com, which owns Chinese football club Nan Jing Qianbao FC, is the "new principal sponsor" of La Liga side Real Sociedad, which will wear the Qbao.com logo on the front of its shirts this season, according to the EFE. The one-year deal "includes an option for an extension after this season." Real Sociedad "did not announce the financial terms of the agreement." In addition to Qbao.com having a presence in Real Sociedad's various advertising campaigns, the agreement includes the "possibility of the club helping to train Nan Jing Qianbao's youth players." Real Sociedad President Jokin Aperribay said, "It is an agreement that we have worked on intensely for months, allowing for the internationalization of the club and opening doors to the foreign market" (EFE, 8/11).
