Under Armour announced that former ESPN President GEORGE W. BODENHEIMER has joined the company's board of directors. Bodenheimer is an ESPN and cable industry pioneer, having served as the company's longest-tenured president from '98-12 (Under Armour). ... Andretti Sports Marketing has appointed event management exec TIM RAMSBERGER as its VP and GM of its growing sports, entertainment and experiential marketing business. Ramsberger's experience includes World Cup, Olympic, Disney and IndyCar event management. Ramsberger most recently served as president of the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg (ISPORTCONNECT, 8/6). ... TVC Group "launched a sporting division" with the appointment of Hill+Knowlton Strategies' sponsorship specialist BEN BARKER. Barker "joins as head of sport at the new six-strong TVC Sport team." Barker "will be reporting" to TVC Group MD JAMES MYERS. Also "joining the new set-up" is second-in-command MARYANN STEVENS, who has been hired from Brand Rapport as senior account director (PR WEEK, 8/6). ... ANTHONY HUDSON "has been unveiled as the new coach" of New Zealand's national football team. The Englishman will take charge of the All Whites "through to the end of the 2018 World Cup campaign" (3NEWS, 8/5).
