Scottish Championship side Hibernian FC supporters said that "they are preparing to step up their bid for control of the Leith outfit after holding talks" with Owner Tom Farmer, according to the Scotland DAILY RECORD. A group "has set up the 'Forever Hibernian' campaign and is readying itself to launch a takeover bid." It plans "to form a co-operative which will give fans an equal say in how the club and its Easter Road home are run." An "initial plan has already been rejected" by Farmer after "he raised concerns about tax and investment complications." But "discussions are on-going," and fan spokesperson and former player Paul Kane insists the Edinburgh side's faithful "will not give up easily." Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen "will travel to Florida in preparation for the second half of the '14-15 Bundesliga season." The club announced that "it will hold its winter training camp in Orlando from Jan. 9-18." British race team Carlin will be the technical service provider to Mahindra Racing in the inaugural FIA Formula E Championship, which will launch in September. The multiple championship winning team will provide engineering and technical support to the Mahindra Racing Formula E team, both from the championship’s technical headquarters in Donington, U.K. and at the 10 track events on the '14-15 calendar (Carlin).
