Austrian Ski Federation (ÖSV) President PETER SCHRÖCKSNADEL "was unanimously re-elected at the federation's state conference on Friday." Schröcksnadel, "who has been the federation's president since '90, will head the ÖSV for another three years through '17." ÖSV VPs TONI LEIKAM, ROSWITHA STADLOBER, ALFONS SCHRANZ, MICHAEL WALCHHOFER and KURT STEINKOGLER "were also confirmed in their positions" (KURIER, 6/27). ... Bundesliga club FC Cologne has signed an early extension with head coach PETER STÖGER until June 30, 2017. The club also extended its deal with assistant coach MANFRED SCHMID. The Austrian duo, which took over the club in the summer of '13, "led Cologne back to the Bundesliga in their first season" (KURIER, 7/2). ... Sky Deutschland CEO BRIAN SULLIVAN "will continue to head the German pay-TV broadcaster." At the end of last week, the 52-year-old American "extended his contract by two years until the end of 2016." Sullivan has been the CEO of Sky Deutschland since April 1, 2010 (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 7/1). ... Premiership rugby side Gloucester’s "radical overhaul" of its coaching staff after its disappointing season and the departure of Dir of Rugby NIGEL DAVIES "has taken another big step forward" with the appointment of Australian Super Rugby side Brumbies Dir of Rugby LAURIE FISHER as head coach. He follows the arrivals of former Ireland stand-off DAVID HUMPHREYS, who "has masterminded Ulster’s rise to the top level of European rugby, as director of rugby;" NICK WALSHE, who "guided England Under-20s to the Junior World Cup, as backs and attack coach;" and JOHN MUGGLETON, who "worked with the Wallabies for 10 years, as defence coach" (London TELEGRAPH, 7/2).

IN SPAIN: Spanish Basketball League (ACB) side Laboral Kutxa "is searching for a coach" to replace SERGIO SCARIOLO, who will "not remain with the club despite having a year left on his contract" (EFE, 7/2). ... ACB side UCAM Murcia introduced DIEGO OCAMPO as its new coach (EP, 7/2).
