Golfer Henrik Stenson Signs Two-Year Deal To Promote Jumeirah Golf Estates

World No. 2 golfer Henrik Stenson signed a two-year deal with Jumeirah Golf Estates "to become the venue’s ambassador for golf and residential development," according to GULF NEWS. The 38-year-old Swede "will support the facilities’ domestic and global marketing activity, including personal appearances, media and public relations." As part of the deal, "Stenson’s Tour apparel will now feature the JGE logo." JGE "has been a happy hunting ground for Stenson." The former Dubai resident "followed up his FedEx Cup win on the US PGA Tour with victory in the European Tour’s Race to Dubai season-ending equivalent, the DP World Tour Championship at the venue last year, to record a historic trans-Atlantic double" (GULF NEWS, 6/30).
