La Liga Side Rayo Vallecano Drops '14-15 Season Ticket Prices By Average Of 15%

La Liga side Rayo Vallecano on Monday "presented a season-ticket campaign to increase the club's members," according to F.J. Garrido of AS. The club reduced ticket prices by an average of 15% (including a 16.67% decrease for retirees and young fans and 19.64% cheaper tickets for the handicapped). Season tickets will include the team's 19 La Liga games and its first Copa del Rey match. Rayo President Raúl Martín Presa "explained the delay in the launch of the campaign." Presa: "We have delayed the presentation because we wanted to have the team somewhat assembled. It is the line we have followed with 'Together, we can.'  We are the most humble La Liga club and we have to base our objective on unity and strength. The new tickets are significantly reduced and it is a reward for the fans." To promote the campaign, the club produced a video and "announced two advertising campaigns." One will feature the Municipal Transportation Company, which will have "15 buses feature Rayo Vallecano advertising in July, August and September." The other publicity campaign "will include posters throughout the Madrid neighborhood of Vallecas" (AS, 6/24).
