Ryan, 29, broke the news to his team before announcing it on The Footy Show, "where he has been a guest panellist for the past five years" (SYDNEY MORNING HERALD, 6/5). ... Olympic champion KJETIL JANSRUD will be an ambassador for the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics, to be held in Lillehammer (IOC). ... EPL CEO RICHARD SCUDAMORE will "undergo heart surgery next week." The operation, "which has been some months in the planning," is to repair “genetically defective valves” and will keep him out of the office until the end of July (PA, 6/5).
