EPL Attendance Up 2% During '13-14 Season, With Everton Leading Gains

EPL teams averaged 36,657 fans per match during the '13-14 season, up 2% from '12-13. Despite ManU having one of its worst records since the EPL began in '92-93, the club's attendance was relatively flat. Everton, which finished fourth in the standings and will make next season's UEFA Champions League, saw the biggest uptick among EPL clubs (+4%). Aston Villa was up 2%, while four clubs -- West Ham, Southampton, Fulham and Stoke City -- saw a 2% drop at the gate (THE DAILY).
