The NBA has partnered with Buenos Aires newspaper Olé to launch a website for fans in Argentina. The site (NBA.com/Argentina) offers localized content. It will feature highlights, interviews, editorial coverage, social media elements and coverage of local activities. The NBA now has 17 int'l web destinations (NBA). ... The 2014 World Cup will be broadcast in South Africa on DStv’s SuperSport channel, with live matches available to viewers on the SuperSport HD channels. MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that it will be offering Nigerians who do not yet subscribe to the pay-TV channels "a discount on the price of their decoders, in order for them to be able to watch games" and support the Nigerian national team (SCREEN AFRICA, 4/22). ... The Singapore Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee has selected Atos Information Technology to manage the technology infrastructure for the event. This will include operations, services and communications to athletes, spectators, organizers, officials, media, viewers, spectators and Internet users in Southeast Asia (Atos).
