IPL Marketplace Roundup: Kings XI Punjab Names Tata Motors Prima As Title Sponsor

Indian Premier League franchise on Thursday announced Prima as its title sponsor "even as its total tally rose to an impressive 14 sponsors." The franchisee has on board Trip Factory, McDowells, Britannia, Pepsi, Flying Machine, Prayag Bath Fittings, Frontline Securities, R N Sports and Amazon as its new sponsors, "while it continues its existing relationship with Arise India, Cement, Kingfisher and TK Sports for this year" (PTI, 4/17). ... The roped in "as a partner and principal sponsor." As a part of this association, "the RBL Bank brand will be seen on the Delhi Daredevils jersey" (PTI, 4/17). ... Kalanithi Maran-promoted low cost airlines has said that it will be the principal sponsor of, "owned by Maran-promoted Sun Group, for the second consecutive year." It "is also the official airline partner for the team" (BUSINESS STANDARD, 4/17). ... Convenience store chain said that "it was the principal sponsor" of the he Chennai Super Kings signed electrical goods company as its sponsor. Under the sponsorship deal, Orient's logo will be featured on the team's caps and helmets (BUSINESS STANDARD, 4/17).
