Perform Germany Managing Dir MANUEL LOPEZ "will step down from his position after two years." The co-founder of sports website Spox and marketing company mediasports Digital became managing director of Perform Germany after the media corporation aquired both companies in '11 (NEW BUSINESS, 3/26). ... Bundesliga club Werder Bremen President & Managing Dir KLAUS-DIETER FISCHER "has announced his resignation due to personal reasons after 45 years in leading positions." The 73-year-old said, "The club has been in existence for 115 years, and I've been a member for 60 years and in leading positions for 45 years. I always had the ambition to decide on my own the time of my resignation, and I think it has come at the end of the year" (SID, 3/26).

TOKYO OLYMPIC BOARD: All 34 members of the exec board of the Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games on Wednesday finalized the board’s composition with the appointment of six VPs, a director general and three senior exec board members. The newly appointed members of the exec board are as follows: AKIO TOYODA (Chairman, Committee on Promotion of Sports, Keidanren / President, Toyota Motor Corporation), YOSHITAKA SAKURADA (Minister in charge of Sports / Senior Vice Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology), ICHIRO KONO (President, Japan Sport Council), TSUNEKAZU TAKEDA (Member, IOC / President, Japanese Olympic Committee), YASUSHI YAMAWAKI (Governing Board Member, International Paralympic Committee / Director of Japan Sports Association for the Disabled and VP of Japan Paralympic Committee), TOSHIYUKI AKIYAMA (Vice Governor of Tokyo) (Tokyo 2020).
