Marketplace Roundup: AFL Side West Coast Eagles Partner With Infinite Energy

Australian Football League side West Coast Eagles announced a partnership with Infinite Energy. Infinite Energy will have a visible presence at Patersons Stadium, including on the LED signage on the boundary, on the video scoreboard, in the Bill Walker Room and around Eagles Fan Zone (West Coast Eagles). ... UEFA appointed VERO Communications "to help develop and support" its int'l communications activities. VERO "will provide strategic communications support" on a range of issues and the promotion of major milestones in the European football calendar (WORLD FOOTBALL INSIDER, 3/27). ... Tata Sons and Tata Motors, who have long been sponsoring Indian driver Narain Karthikeyan, on Thursday "announced their support to India's ace racer for his maiden participation in the Japanese championship Super Formula 2014." Karthikeyan "will be driving for Team Impul Hoshino Racing." The series comprising eight rounds, seven in Japan and one in South Korea, "will begin on April 13 at Suzuka circuit and conclude at the same place on November 9" (PTI, 3/27). ... The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) on Thursday announced that the national team "will change the colors of its alternate uniform ahead of this summer's World Cup." Portugal's secondary uniforms will feature white shirts and blue shorts (EFE, 3/27). ... Dorna Sports announced that Italian commercial vehicle manufacturer IVECO will remain its MotoGP trucks and commercial vehicles supplier for '14. IVECO will provide Dorna with a total of 13 trucks and vans to haul all the necessary equipment around the globe to organize and broadcast the motorcycle-racing spectacle. IVECO branding will be present in numerous corners on the track throughout the Grand Prix calendar (MotoGP).
