La Liga Side Valencia Convinces Bankia To Move Deadline On $303M Loan To April 27

La Liga Valencia President Amadeo Salvo on Tuesday was "able to convince the club's lender, Spanish bank Bankia, to delay by a month the deadline for the club to pay" the €220M ($303.3M) it owes Bankia, according to Fernando Álvarez of MARCA. In this manner, "the expected tension of the next few weeks has been loosened." The club has established April 1 as the deadline for offers from "investors looking to buy the team." Taking into account that "the deadline to pay Bankia has been pushed back to April 27, there will be a vote on the winning proposal before that date" (MARCA, 3/26).
