Sources Say La Liga Valencia Hoping New Investor Will Follow Lead Of Man City, Chelsea

In the "middle of April, if nothing happens," the new owner of La Liga Valencia "will have eyes and a face," according to Alonso Castilla of EL CONFIDENCIAL. Currently, "there are only three options that have presented projects solid enough to be taken into account." Sources "close to the operation" said that the objective is to "become the Spanish version of Chelsea or Man City, which were bought by millionaires who have truly invested in their respective rosters." There "are talks of potential Valencia investors from the U.S., Russia and an Arabic nation" (EL CONFIDENCIAL, 3/25).
