Event Notes: Carl Froch-George Groves Bout Sells 60,000 Tickets In Less Than Hour

The rematch of the Carl Froch-George Groves boxing match, which is scheduled for May 31 at Wembley Stadium, "has sold 60,000 tickets in under an hour." The feat means the bout "surpasses the gate" set by Ricky Hatton's '07 appearance at the City of Manchester Stadium, "making it the biggest post-war fight on British soil" (BOXREC NEWS, 3/10). ... The three wild card entries for the 78th Tour de Suisse will be IAM Cycling of Switzerland, which was formed in '13 by Michael Thétaz, MTN Qhubeka of South Africa and CCC Polsat Polkowice of Poland (Tour De Suisse).
