Portuguese side Porto announced that coach PAULO FONSECA and the club "reached an agreement for Fonseca to step down from the position." Porto named LUIS CASTRO its interim coach (MARCA, 3/5). ... Lagardére Unlimited has appointed PHILIPP HASENBEIN as its Head of European Football. Hassenbein will remain the managing director of SPORTFIVE Germany (Lagardére Unlimited). ...  Three-time world champion GABRIELA SZABO has been appointed as the minister of youth and sport in the proposed structure of Romania’s new government. Szabo won four world indoor titles as well as the Olympic 5000m Gold at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. The 38-year-old is on the IAAF Women’s Committee and is a council member for European Athletics. She is also the vice president of the Romanian Athletics Federation (IAAF, 3/4). ... ROSS HUTCHINS is the new tournament director at The Queen's Club in London. The appointment of "one of the most popular players on the ATP Tour could attract more leading players" to the Aegon Championships in '15. Hutchins takes over from CHRIS KERMODE, who left before Christmas "after several years running the tournament" (GUARDIAN, 3/5).
