Marketplace Roundup: Klitschko Management Group Partners With Deutsche Markenarbeit

The Klitschko Management Group, the marketing agency of brothers Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko, "has teamed up with consulting firm Deutsche Markenarbeit." The cooperation's goal "is to pass along the expertise from the development of the Klitschko brand to others, who plan a career after their career" (HORIZONT, 2/18). ... Puma Singapore "signed a two-year sponsorship deal" with reigning RHB Singapore Cup champions Home United FC on Wednesday. This partnership marks Puma's "first-ever sponsorship of a football club in Singapore." As the official kit sponsor, Puma Singapore "will produce both playing and training kits as well as apparels" for HUFC's S League, Prime League and Centre of Excellence teams for two seasons (ASIA ONE, 2/19). ... Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho "secured two new endorsement deals." Watch brand Hublot and British car manufacturer Jaguar "have signed the Portuguese coach as their ambassadors" (ISPORTCONNECT, 2/18). ... Scottish Pro12 rugby side Glasgow Warriors on Wednesday announced a new sponsorship deal with The Malcolm Group for the '14-15 season. The Malcolm Group is one of the Warriors' shirt sponsors this season and will continue to back the club for the new campaign (Glasgow Warriors). ... Major U.K. food company Moy Park was "named as one of the sponsors of the 2014 FIFA World Cup." The brand name "will be featured on pitch perimeter boards on games involving England, France, the Netherlands and Spain, and will also be on the official website" (GLOBAL MEAT NEWS, 2/19). ... Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart "has launched a special offer for its season-ticket holders." Season-ticket holders "will be allowed to buy two additional single-game tickets" for the Bundesliga games against Hertha Berlin and Eintracht Braunscheig for only €2.50 ($3.40) each (STUTTGARTER ZEITUNG, 2/19). ... Adidas unveiled the new adizero F50 Leo Messi signature cleat, worn by the Argentinian player for the first time in Tuesday's round of 16 Champions League match (adidas).
