Second Bundesliga club FC Ingolstadt "has signed an early contract extension with shirt sponsor Audi." The car brand "will continue its partnership with the club until the end of the '17-18 season." The club said that the deal will also focus on supporting the club's youth teams. Ingolstadt Managing Dir Harald Gärtner said, "Every club is happy about such a strong partner by its side.
