Marketplace Roundup: Brazilian Side Santos Partners With Language School CNA

Brazilian side Santos has agreed to a one-year partnership with language school CNA. The deal will see CNA's logo appear on Santos' shirt sleeves at the start of the upcoming season before moving to the shoulder. Financial terms were not officially released (Santos). ... The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) has extended its partnership with Spalding for another three years. Spalding and its German distribution partner uhlsport will continue as the league's official ball supplier and official kit supplier for its referees. Spalding has been a partner of the BBL since '07 (BBL). ... Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg announced that Kappa Deutschland will become the club's official kit supplier starting with the '14-15 season (VfL Wolfsburg). ... Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund has agreed to a partnership with cable-TV operator Unitymedia KabelBW (Borussia Dortmund). ... Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen annouced it "will feature the logo of charity partner 'Ein Herz für Kinder' on the front of its jerseys during the Bundesliga games against Freiburg on Saturday and Stuttgart on Feb. 1, as well as during the German Cup (DFB-Pokal) quarterfinal match against Kaiserslautern on Feb. 12" (BILD, 1/23). ... U.K. bookmaker Coral "has agreed a two-and-a-half-year deal" to become the official European online betting partner of EPL side Chelsea. Under the deal, Coral "will deliver exclusive betting offers to Chelsea fans on a weekly basis for various markets around the world" (IGAMINGBUSINESS, 1/22). ... 4sports & Entertainment is now also offering its services on the German market. With three-time Davis Cup winner Carl-Uwe Steeb as managing director of the newly founded company 4sports Germany, the Baar, Switzerland-based agency seeks to establish itself in Germany as a leading service provider in the fields of athlete management, event management, sports marketing and corporate customer consulting (4sports).
