CATHIE SABIN has been confirmed as the Lawn Tennis Association's first female president at the annual general meeting held at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton. Sabin was previously LTA deputy president and replaces PETER BRETHERTON, who held the role of president for three years (LTA).
