La Liga Valencia Reveals New Sports Leadership Led By Francisco Joaquín Rufete

La Liga side Valencia was scheduled to hold a press conference Monday at 11am to reveal the club's "new sporting leaders," which will feature current "Academia" ("Youth Team") GM Francisco Joaquín Rufete as the "primary manager," according to Conrado Valle of AS. Last week, Rufete presented to Valencia's Administrative Council his project, and "will now explain it publicly." It involves "strengthening the structure surrounding the first team and also concerns the personnel of the team's coaching staff." The "revamping of the coaching staff will not affect the status of Valencia coach Miroslav Djukic." Instead, Rufete's aim is to "provide Djukic with more human resources, including trainers, assistants and psychologists." Earlier in November, "the club sacked former Sports Dir Braulio Vazquez" (AS, 11/24).
