Celtic Park Undergoes Facelift Ahead Of Commonwealth Games, Scottish Cup Final

Major building works "are set to begin on the area surrounding Celtic Park ahead of the Commonwealth Games next year," according to the SCOTSMAN. The Parkhead club announced that "work on the demolition of London Road Primary School and the club's ticket office" would begin on Wednesday as the front of the stadium undergoes a facelift. Celtic Park is the venue for the opening ceremony of the Games which will take place on July 23, "and it will also host the Scottish Cup final in May" (SCOTSMAN, 11/13).
