Marketplace Roundup: Cricket Australia Names Hardys Its Official Wine Supplier

Cricket Australia has named Hardys its official wine supplier in a three-year deal. Hardys plans to run a national ad campaign throughout the upcoming cricket season (CA). ... German telecom company Deutsche Telekom, which is the title sponsor of Bayern Munich, will equip the Allianz Arena with state-of-the-art communication technology. The goal is to turn the arena into Europe's top venue in terms of telecommunication (Deutsche Telekom). ... Spain's national football team will present the uniforms it will wear during the 2014 World Cup on Wednesday. Adidas has organized a uniform presentation event that will take place in Madrid at 12:15pm (MARCA, 11/11). ... Tesco "will be launching retail marketing programmes featuring Pelé branded merchandise in stores across Central Eastern Europe from early April 2014 in the run up to the World Cup in Brazil." Retail marketing specialist TCC "has struck an exclusive deal" with Pelé and has been granted the official rights to Pelé-branded footballs (RETAIL TIMES, 11/11). ... The Australian Turf Club and A-League club Western Sydney Wanderers football club have partnered (RACING NETWORK, 11/11).
