Marketplace Roundup: Sydney Roosters To Sign Sponsorship With Ticketing Company Viagogo

National Rugby League club Sydney Roosters is "set to become the third Australian football team to sign a sponsorship deal with global online secondary ticketing company viagogo." It "is the club's first new sponsorship deal signed since Syndey beat Manly in the NRL grand final in early October" (AUSTRALIAN FINANCIAL REVIEW, 10/28). ... Handball Bundesliga (HBL) Frisch Auf! Göppingen has extended its partnership with ticketing partner CTS Eventim for another five years. In addition, CTS Eventim will introduce a professional customer-relationship-management system that will enable the team to better accommodate customer needs (Frisch Auf! Göppingen). ... FC Barcelona unveiled a sponsorship agreement with Samba Financial Group for an initial period of three years. This agreement will make Samba an official sponsor and official bank of FC Barcelona in Saudi Arabia. It is the first alliance between FC Barcelona and an organization from Saudi Arabia (FC Barcelona). ... The NFL has opened its first official online store in China. The new site is www.nflchinashop.com. The NFL collaborated with Export Now to establish operation, with the store initiating sales in October. The store sells official apparel, equipment and accessories branded from the NFL and its 32 teams over an e-commerce platform on China's business-to-consumer platform Tmall.com (Export Now).
