Cycling Australia's support "is likely to mean Cookson can rely on three votes from Oceania's regional federation, which may prove decisive in a tightly contested poll with only 42 casting voters across the globe" (REUTERS, 8/26). ... Former NBA player YAO MING "has collaborated with the world's largest beer producer to launch a short film warning against the dangers of drunk driving." The six-minute micro film, titled "Price of Love -- No Drunk Driving" was unveiled in Shanghai on Sunday "in collaboration with brewers Anheuser-Busch" (CHINA DAILY, 8/26). ... Brazilian goalkeeper GYLMAR DOS SANTOS NEVES has died "after a heart attack." He was 83. Neves "helped his country" win the 1958 and 1962 World Cups. Neves "had been hospitalized since last week after complications from a heart attack" (AP, 8/26).
