Adidas Opens Its Biggest Worldwide Logistics Center In Northwest Germany

Adidas "opened its biggest worldwide logistics center between Vechta and Osnabrück in Germany," according to NWZ ONLINE. The new logistics center at the Niedersachen-Park in Rieste/Neuenkirchen-Vörden "is expected to turn around 102 million items per year by '15." Distribution Center Head Lars Stefanowski said, "It is the biggest worldwide logistics center of our group based on performance." The logistics center "will create a total of 250 full-time jobs." Adidas has invested more than €100M ($128M) in the site since '11 (NWZ ONLINE, 7/4).
