German free-to-air TV channel Sport1 "presented a new logo design at a press conference on Wednesday," according to Manuel Weis of QUOTENMETER. Beside the new logo that also incorporates the slogan "Mittendrin" ("in the middle of it") and reminds of Sport1 predecessor DSF, Program Dir Olaf Schröder "presented Sport1's new radio station Sport1 FM and several new TV formats." Arguably the most important TV project "is a new football talk show that will air Sundays at 9:45pm." The channel also presented two new faces with Laura Wontorra, who joins Sport1 from Sky and will become the regular presenter of the channel's 2nd Bundesliga game on Monday evenings, and Sky Sport News HD's Anna Kraft, who will present Sport1's "Bundesliga aktuell" show. The channel's new radio channel Sport1 FM, which can be received via Internet, smartphone apps, WiFi radios and tablets with celluar connection, "will broadcast a 24-hour, free-of-charge program starting on July 18." In the background of the radio station "works a 20-person editorial staff." In addition to regular programs and shows that are also known from Sport1's TV program, the radio station "will live broadcast Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga games, as individual games and as a simulcast, up to four DFB-Pokal (German Cup) games per round, selective national team games and top-division basketball and handball games" (QUOTENMETER, 7/3).
