Marketplace Roundup: Bundesliga's Hertha BSC Berlin, Coke Extend Partnership

Bundesliga club Hertha BSC Berlin has extended its exclusive partnership with Coca-Cola for another three years. The soft-drink producer will retain the distribution rights for non-alcoholic beverages at Hertha home games in Berlin's Olympic Stadium. The deal was brokered by sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE (Hertha BSC). ... Second Bundesliga side FC Energie Cottbus has signed a kit deal with sportswear company Saller. The deal will start with the '13-14 season and run through June '16 (Energie Cottbus). ... Liga MX club Chivas de Guadalajara on Friday presented its new uniforms for the '13 season. The team's players wore the new uniforms in a presentation attended by club execs (LA AFICION, 6/28). ... U.S. technology company Belkin "has named LikeFriends as its digital agency to support its recently announced sponsorship of the male Blanco Pro Cycling Team, ahead of the Tour de France." LikeFriends "will be Belkin's first digital agency, and has been tasked with developing a campaign, which will run for the duration of the Tour de France and will be centred on Belkin's Facebook page" (CAMPAIGN LIVE, 6/28).
