La Liga Side Atlético Madrid Fans Quickly Purchasing Seats In Family Sections

La Liga side Atlético Madrid's new family section of seats at Vicente Calderón Stadium "is having great success," according to F.J. Díaz of AS. The club made 800 seats for the family section available, and has already sold more than half of them after five days. The goal of the section is to accommodate children and form a healthy section (smoking is not allowed), with increased safety and a connection to a playground. The family sections are numbers 213, which is uncovered, and 317, which is covered. The tickets to these sections are sold in group packages for a minimum of three people and include discounts of up to 44%. The price ranges from €645-€960 ($860.40-$1280.6). Despite the success, Atlético does not currently have plans to add the number of tickets for the family zones (AS, 6/16).
