Facility Notes: Arena Fonte Nova World Cup Stadium Suffers Partial Roof Collapse

Part of the roof of a stadium in Brazil which will host matches in next month's Confederations Cup "has collapsed." The roof of the Arena Fonte Nova in the northeastern city of Salvador "apparently was not able to sustain the large amount of water that settled on top of it after it rained heavily overnight on Monday." There were no immediate reports of anyone being injured (AP, 5/27). ... League Two Portsmouth fans will soon be able to buy tickets via Facebook thanks to a new ticketing system. The club has announced that it has replaced Ticketmaster with AudienceView, which will not only allow fans to buy tickets online, it will also allow the club to better target its marketing (Portsmouth FC).
