ASO, France Télévisions Sign Broadcast Deal Through 2020 Which Includes Tour De France

French public national TV broadcaster France Télévisions will televise the Tour de France through 2020.
Amaury Sport Organisation and French public national TV broadcaster France Télévisions have signed a partnership agreement through '20 for the broadcasting of events organized by ASO, including the Tour de France. The partnership makes France Télévisions the official broadcaster of the following events until '20: the Dakar Rally, Paris-Nice, the Critérium Int'l, the Schneider Electric Marathon of Paris, Paris-Roubaix, the Flèche Wallonne, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, the Critérium du Dauphiné, the Tour de France and Paris-Tours. The new agreement follows a consultation made by ASO on Feb. 13, 2012 regarding the TV rights in France for the '16-20 period about free access TV channels for the sporting events concerned. In total, these competitions accounted for more than 170 hours of broadcasts last year on France Télévisions channels (ASO).
