The corpse of Diego Bogado, a fan of Argentinian football club Vélez Sarsfield, was discovered Wednesday "under the main lower section stands of the José Amalfitani stadium" in Buenos Aires, according to the BUENOS AIRES HERALD. Security official sources said that police are "still investigating the cause of death." On Tuesday, "a game had occurred between the local team and Emelc of Ecuador for the Libertadores tournament." The wife and brother of the deceased said that "Bogado was a member of a Vélez hooligan group called the 'gang of Liniers.'" Vélez Sarsfield published a press release clarifying that Bogado “was not a member nor an employee of the institution” (BUENOS AIRES HERALD, 4/11).
