Sportswear brand Puma named SHIRLEY JUSTICE GM of Global Sourcing effective Monday. In the newly created position, Justice is based at Puma's Asian headquarters in Hong Kong and reports to CFO MICHAEL LAMMERMANN (SPORTSWEAR INTERNATIONAL, 3/28). ... Sussex County Cricket Club AGM elected former Sussex and England wicketkeeper-batsman JIM PARKS as President Wednesday. Parks takes over from BRYAN BESDON, who was elected as a vice-president together with JOHN PENGELLY and former players MUSHTAG AHMED, ALAN OAKHAM and IAN THOMSON (Sussex County Cricket Club). ... Derbyshire County Cricket Club "will scrap their previous board committee" in favor of a newly elected supervisory board who will govern the English team. The 15-person committee "previously responsible for running the club has been disbanded" in favor of a supervisory board of six. CHRIS GRANT was re-elected as chairman immediately after Wednesday's Special General Meeting and will serve as finance director on the new board, with DAVID BOOTH, KEVIN DEAN, JOHN GAINS, DAVID GRIFFIN and ROBERT TICE also handed new roles. The proposal, "which required a 66% majority, received overwhelming support," with 614 votes in favor and just 26 against (Derbyshire County Cricket Club). ... Golf Australia named GERARD KENNEDY CFO and company secretary. Kennedy joins Golf Australia from National Rugby League club Melbourne Storm where he was most recently the GM of operations (Golf Australia).
