Marketplace Roundup: Sky Signs Sponsorship Deal With Rolex For F1 Broadcasts

German pay-TV channel Sky has signed a new, exclusive sponsorship deal with luxury watchmaker Rolex to sponsor its F1 broadcasts. The Swiss-based watchmaker already sponsors Sky's golf broadcasts as well as its Wimbledon coverage (Sky Media Network). ... German 3rd League football club Stuttgarter Kickers have reached a new sponsorship deal with fashion company s.Oliver. The company's logo will be featured on the sleeve of the team's jersey. The deal will run through June 30 (Stuttgarter Kickers). ... F1 team Force India has agreed to a new partnership with electronics company Medion AG as an official team partner for the '13 season. Medion will use the association to promote its Medion Mobile brand. The company's logo will be featured on the car, the drivers’ and mechanics’ suits, and the team’s marketing tools. The partnership will also give the team access to a wide range of Medion products (Force India). ... Indian Premier League side Rajasthan Royals has partnered with Garnier Men, a skincare product manufacturer for men, as its official grooming partner (Rajasthan Royals). ... Queensland Rugby revealed that boutique wine maker Agnew Wines has joined it as a new sponsor. Agnew Wines has signed a three-year partnership as official wine supplier, and through their label Cockfighter's Ghost has launched a new wine bar at Suncorp Stadium (Queensland Rugby).
