Sky Records High Ratings With 2nd Bundesliga, Premier League Broadcasts On Monday

German pay-TV channel Sky "received high ratings" with its broadcasts of Monday night's 2nd Bundesliga and Premier League games, according to Timo Nöthling of QUOTEN METER. A total of 160,000 viewers tuned in to watch the 2nd Bundesliga game between MSV Duisburg and Eintracht Braunschweig, which started at 8:15pm German time. The number translated into a 0.5% market share. In the target demographic 14-49, Duisburg's 1-0 victory attracted 90,000 viewers or a 0.7% share. In addition, Sky's broadcast of the EPL matchup between Manchester City and Aston Villa, which started a 9pm German time, was watched by 40,000 viewers, which equaled a 0.1% market share. In the target demographic, City's 1-0 victory attracted 20,000 viewers and recorded a 0.2% share (QUOTEN METER, 3/5).
