Europa League Game Between Hannover-Makhachkala Highest Rated On Kabel Eins

German private-TV channel kabel eins "recorded top ratings" with its broadcast of Thursday's Europa League game between Hannover 96 and Russian Premier League side Anzhi Makhachkala, according to Jan Schlüter of QUOTEN METER. A total of 2.9 million viewers tuned in on Thursday night to watch the first half of the round of 32 matchup. The number equaled a strong 9% market share. In the target demographic 14-49, the first half of the game was watched by 1.26 million viewers and obtained a 10% market share. During the second half, the viewership increased to 3.14 million viewers. The number translated into a 13.9% share. In the target demographic, the second half of the game attracted 1.39 million viewers and received a 15.1% share. Thursday's 1-1 draw "was the highest rated Europa League game on kabel eins" during the '12-13 season (QUOTEN METER, 2/22).
