SPL Heart Of Midlothian To Launch Season Ticket Sales In Early March, No Dynamic Pricing

Scottish Premier League side Heart of Midlothian "will launch next year’s season tickets early next month," but has "promised not to use the dynamic pricing policy, which enraged fans last summer," according to the SCOTSMAN. Club officials "have developed a new price plan that they feel will satisfy all supporters" and will put it into operation when '13-14 season tickets go on sale in the first week of March. The Jam Tarts "considered all the feedback from fans" and, while dynamic pricing was successful, the club’s hierarchy has "opted not to continue with it." A Hearts spokesperson said, "While that approach was innovative for Hearts and proved successful, this year we believe we have a pricing model which will appeal to everybody. One of its key elements will be the re-introduction of early-bird prices for a fixed period, allowing fans a set number of weeks to secure the best packages" (SCOTSMAN, 2/14).
