Indonesian Badminton League To Become Annual Event, Will Rotate Between Cities

Organizers of the Badminton Superliga int'l team challenge said that it "is set to become an annual event," after Musica Champions won the men's event and Jaya Raya won the women's crown at last week's "successful 2013 tournament" in Surabaya, Indonesia, according to the JAKARTA GLOBE. The tournament was held in Jakarta in '07 and Surabaya in '11 and '13, but badminton administrations have revealed that it will "be held each year in cities including Yogyakarta, Bandung and Palembang." Tournament Dir Yoppy Rosimin said following a strong response from players and spectators "we will start to plan next year's event as soon as possible, and we want to hold it annually" (JAKARTA GLOBE, 2/11).
